Our MYOB practice sets immerse students in a realistic scenario that appoints
them as the new accountant to an "Electronics Specialist" retail store. Students must
first convert the current accounting system of that store into the MYOB software and then
complete a one-month accounting cycle for the store in an actual copy of the
MYOB accounting software. Along the way, students must follow AASB
accounting standards, use the perpetual inventory system, and
manage GST as part of their transactions.

of key figures in Excel format. When combined with electronic copies of MYOB
reports, this approach allows instructors to have students submit their practice

VirtualTutor online:
As an alternative to the traditional paper booklet and manual grading approach,
Perdisco's VirtualTutor practice set requires students to work in the MYOB
software and transcribe their results to our website for automatic grading,
with results reported directly to instructors.
